UFAI Santa Barbara Walks to Cure Arthritis

THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to all of those who participated in the Walk to Cure Arthritis – Santa Barbara as donor, fundraiser, volunteer and/or walker! The Walk might be over, but the battle against arthritis pain and disability continues: in honor of National Arthritis Awareness Month, Santa Barbara is still raising funds! Throughout the month of May, please continue to raise funds for research and local programs of advocacy, wellness education and information, and juvenile arthritis activities.

University Foot and Ankle Institute is happy to report that we have thus far raised over $5,800 and had a total of 12 walkers!  I want to personally thank all those who donated.  This was the first year UFAI has had the opportunity to participate in the Walk to Cure Arthritis and we look forward to being involved in the many years to come! Be sure to spread the word to everyone you know that arthritis has to be taken seriously. It’s America’s #1 cause of disability.  It can be painful, debilitating, and costly. The Arthritis Foundation is hard at work on solutions. We need your help to win the fight once and for all!
