All Ankle Conditions

Updated 4/23/2018

In this video Jeff talks about how his UFAI ankle surgery literally changed his life.

Ranging from minor sprains to complex breaks and ankle replacement surgery, we know the ankle better than anyone.

Our ankle surgeons have revolutionized the treatment of ankle arthritis, with many decades of combined experience. We continually work with manufactures on the development of advance ankle treatment technologies.

Our clinical experience and extensive research allow us to truly customize each patients care plan. This is very important since no two ankles are exactly same nor are any two patients.

  • Ankle Sprains are the most common foot and ankle injury, usually caused by the twisting of the ankle. If under-treated it often leads to further injury or chronic ankle instability.

  • Any trauma to the ankle can damage its cartilage enough to later cause arthritis. Since arthritis is a progressive disease that compounds itself, it's critically important to seek early medical attention.

  • Chronic ankle instability occurs when the ligaments in the ankle are torn or stretched, This is often the result of recurring ankle sprains or a sprain that didn't heal properly and will only get worse without treatment.

  • A broken or fractured ankle is commonly the result of a rotational injury or foot roll. They're the most under-treated orthopedic condition leading to early onset arthritis and chronic ankle instability.

  • Cartilage damage of the ankle (osteochondral lesion of the talus) occurs from a traumatic fracture or ankle sprain. The bones hit against each when the injury occurs, damaging the cartilage surface.

  • Ankle replacement surgery is performed to reconstruct or replace damaged bone or cartilage in the ankle joint. The surgery is usually for patients that haven't seen relief via traditional ankle surgery.

I've already told Dr. Campbell that I think he's great. He listens to his patients and has a very cool, low-key approach that is genuine and comforting.
