I would have liked more time with the doctor. I had a question that I didn't get to ask in the three minutes he was in the room, and when I went back in to ask it, he sent an assistant out to talk to me and that person gave me a very limited answer. It was disappointing. That said, the physical therapy staff has been amazing and I feel I am recovering much more rapidly than with the previous physical therapist.

Your "Express prescription" service needs some fine tuning. They finally got the medicine to dme after several days. Baravarian prescribed some ointment for a toenail fungus and it was $700 CO-PAYMENT- yes, $700. I canceled it and he found something that was $40 co-pay. I hope he now knows the cost of that stuff. Screw big pharma.

Great treatment all around: minimal waiting room time, appointment available on fairly short notice, quick diagnosis and treatment, prompt followup. In addition, Dr. Briskin's got a terrific bedside manner--he made me feel confident we were on the right treatment path.

Dr. Briskin was wonderful with me. I have a stutter and he was very patient,
answered all my questions and was the ONLY doctor I've seen there who
trimmed my yellow large toenail back significantly. There was a "biopsy" done but I never heard the results of this. Dr. Briskin did write a scrip for more PT
next door, but I injured my left leg since then and have been consumed with
caring for that more severe concern at the moment.
Dr. Briskin earns the highest possible rating for me and I look forward to
future appointments with him if or when required.

Felt a bit rushed with my questions to the doctor. Also, prescription info was not clear. The need to get it through a pharmacy in Orange County. And I have received texts not knowing what they were. Am in process of getting that cleared up.

Honestly, the entire staff is great. My one complaint would be the waiting room. Even when just half full, you have people with foot injuries trying to not step on each other and create further foot/toe damage! Ha!

My feet do not feel normal. I have the beginning of hammer toes and also a burning (nerve???) pain that wakes me at night. I do have pinched nerves in my spine that may be the problem, but I want to make sure that its nothing more serious. My intention is to stop the progression of both and seeking answers as to the cause. Dr B suggested a nerve biopsy and let me wait until he had time to do it that same day. He had a full schedule and squeezed the procedure in. I was very grateful since my drive to your office is lengthy and I had to rent a car for the appt. My followup appt is in a few days.

The recommendation of Hoka shoes has turned out well. The stiffer soles prevent pain while walking and extend my mobility prior to more drastic surgery or other remedies.

Of course, then there are my ankle issues and my knees sometimes have similar pain as my big toes while walking down stairs. Luckily, I just returned from a successful ski trip and my knees feel good. So I am still to prevent issues or soften impact with regular exercise... for now.
