This place is a mess. I had a really bad physical therapist here once. She made my feet worse. Meanwhile, Dr. Baravarian spends about 45 seconds with patients. It's not just me - my family says the same. He's very quick to prescribe surgery and doesn't seem interested in non-surgical approaches. The administrative staff is apathetic, they don't communicate with each other, and they've messed up my appointments and/or the doctor's orders at least twice.

Dr. B. suggested a procedure to me which is not covered by Medicare. I would like to get additional information about this procedure. If I had the exact name I could possibly follow up on it myself.

I am very happy with the care. All but one front desk staff are helpful. The xray and CT technicians are great with great patient interaction. Dr Baravarian is extremely patient and explains everything i ask to be explained. There are some issues with one front desk lady that requires extra diligence of patients, but i go there for excellent medical treatment, and it is well provided. One grumpy employee isn't much setback. I highly recommend UFAI.

Thank you for your knowledge and input regarding my up coming surgery. I’ve decided to do a sub Taylor fusion as recommended. Ankle replacement is not right for me at this point. Will also remove bone spurs. Again thank you for your time and input. It has helped my decision. Regards.

I am very happy with the care, the front desk staff are helpful,the xray and CT technicians are great, Dr Baravarian is patient and explains everything i ask to be explained. My only repeated annoyance has been with Maria. If i request records and give her an authorization, i don't receive them. If i email her questions, i don't get any reply. When i asked for a temporary disabled placard, she let me leave without the application. If i bring anything up to her, I'm dismissed. When i wait at the desk to schedule other appointments, she ignores me until i ask "do i rebook with you?" When i need anything that requires authorization from my lawyer, she says she will call me once it is received, but i have to call and schedule myself, even when the authorization had been received, even up to a week after it was received. But if i voice my troubles with her to another staff member, she responds quickly.

Dr. Baravarian is simply a miracle worker! The prognosis last year was 50% that our 90 yo father would lose his lower limb at Kaiser's Wound Care Clinic. Under Dr. Baravarian's skilled, exceptional care, Dad's been standing for ever longer periods each day and beginning to take steps again in the last 3 months. Have been asked for the name of the miracle worker several times now. Never pass up the opportunity to pass along how terrific Dr. Baravarian and everyone at the UFAI has been from Day 1. Dr.Briskin and the stafff are great! I love my new orthotics although I trimmed the tops of them too short to fit into some other shoes and an going to try to glue back what I trimmed. Will call the office to see if they can help me fix three!

It's unfortunate to break my Achilles tendon, but I am fortunately to have Dr. Baravarian who took my phone call in the evening, and subsequently, provided me with the professional treatment. After 2 days of moderate post-operation pain, I am on the way of recovery.

Additionally, I am fortunate to have the facility's surgery coordinator, Cheli Mendoza, who not only got everything arranged for my operation, but also explained in great length about the billing, including reaching out to the insurance company multiple times to clarify a confusing matter for me.

Dr. Carter looked at me from every perspective he made sure that I wasn’t gonna be getting the procedure in pain and then was able to guide me to the team and take a chance that I could get rid of the pain without surgery as there wasn’t really a good thing that could come out of the surgery I needed.
