Patient Reviews of University Foot and Ankle Institute

My foot accident took place on May 28, 2020. The earliest appointment I obtained to see the doctor was on June 8. I was advised to take MRI on June 12. I left home in Long Beach early morning. At about 9:30 AM while I was in the vicinity of the Institute I got a call to postpone the MRI to Wed June 17. It was not acceptable to me because I was at the Institute on time, the pain from my foot was intolerable, and there had been no intervention to relieve me of pain. So I showed up at the Institute as per appointment and insisted to have the MRI. Alex "squeezed" me in! and the MRI was undertaken. Alex was very nice, but why all this: last minute changes in scheduling and no response to my swollen and painful foot for so long??? I am now looking forward to my Wed June 17 visit to decide a course of action. That is unless you folks change time at the last minute.

I've always received great care from the clinic both therapist, physicians and staff. Unfortunately they don't do the billing in Santa Clarita it's done in Santa Monica and whenever there's been a problem it is problems with the billing and with the people that are disconnected from the clinic.

I have been a long term pt of Dr. Briskin for over 30 years. My experience with him has always been great. All of the staff has always been very professional. He continues to resolve the problems that seek medical attention for

They did an awesome job of conveying what needed to happen and what recovery time would be. The also would answer my questions and respond right away. Dr. Franson is really nice and knowledgeable. He kept me comfortable and would answer my needs in a very quick manner. Thanks you for taking care of my foot problem.

I did not have to wait long in the waiting room or in the exam room. My options were discussed. The doctor took care of the problem. My future treatment was discussed and I will be back when my schedule allows.

De Saeedi is an excellent physician; explained my condition and all my options; after the treatment the next day he even called me to follow up and guided me and advised about stretching.
He is very patient, listens to you and communicates and answers all the questions
I am extremely satisfied with the care De Saeedi has provided and I will recommend him without hesitation

All has been great Dr. Jafary goes above and beyond. So much so i brought in a gift from edible arrangements for doctor a staff. Was a bit disappointed thought there was no acknowledgment from anyone other than the person I gave the gift to, I don't even think doctor was aware a gift was given.

Dr. Baravarian repaired my Achilles tendon in May of 2005. On the CT scan, at the point of rupture, there was a 1.5 inch gap between the ends of my tendon and the ends were shredded.Soon after the surgery and rehabilitation I resumed playing tennis and I have played since then, for all those years, on regular basis, usually a few times a week. I've also been doing other kinds of exercise.  I never had a slightest issue with my tendon since the surgery.  I'm 66 years old now.I had several appointments with Dr. Baravarian.   First before the surgery and than follow ups after.  He was always nice, he was listening to my questions and always explained the procedures to my satisfaction. Coronavirus has put everything on hold but my toes are almost clear. Can't wait for this to be over and a clean bill of health.

P.S. Really hate the phone system and not being able to reach the office directly - adds time to my already packed & stress-filled day.

P.S.S. Granada Hills is easy to find - the other office needs to add maps and specific directions for every direction to the website, especially since there is no direct left turn into the campus.

I was there in January with a referral from Motion Picture Health and was fitted for orthotics, I never received the product or follow up call.
I called in March and was told that they didn't know what happened and I'm still waiting.

Dr Redkar is excellent. Her staff are good. Another benefit for me was that Dr Redkar was able to personally check on my when I was in Cedars. She has a support team there that were excellent as well. I am so happy and grateful to have found her.
