1. I did not like interns being at my appointments without my permission.
2.At first Dr. Baravarian’s manners Had much to be desired but improved over time.
3. At my last visit I was told to tape my toes but not when it was ok to stop.
4. The staff at Santa Monica are pleasant & helpful but Sherman Oaks needs improvement especially Maria.
5. My appointments felt mostly rushed which came across as if my best care was not priority.
6.Alex is especially helpful & seems to care about his work.
7.The facilities at Santa Monica are impressive & comfortable. Sherman Oaks can be improved.

The office did not bother to read the DENIAL of my MRI request & the fact the ins. co. was looking for additional information, specifically, an X-Ray.

I contacted the office on a Monday and was told Dr. Baravarian's Asst. will review the denial and get back to me. The only option I was offered from the front desk personal was to pay $500 to have an MRI done. When I arrived for my office visit that Thursday, no one had bothered to look into the denial or follow-up with me.

As soon as I mentioned it to Dr. Baravarian, he had the office contact Aetna to do a Peer-to-Peer review. It is almost a week, and I have not received any feedback from the office on where I stand with Aetna approving the approval request.

Such a great practice. I have had nothing but amazing visits with Doctor Bob and the staff. Dr. Bob has such a great personality, so positive and helps you understand all that is going on. His confidence and knowledge puts you at ease. Gina is awesome and has been very attentive to my needs both pre surgery & after sugery. Gina has a great future in the field because personality makes all the difference with patients. Cheli is amazing and on top of every piece of paperwork and email, she is 1 in a million... The staff is on top of it, I think the longest wait I've had is 10 min. A fantastic overall experience at University Foot & Ankle Institue of Santa Monica.

The doctor, although very knowledgeable, seemed rushed and I did not have the time to ask him many of the questions I had written down. I paid $135 out of pocket and drove down from Sacramento to see him as his resume was impressive and I was looking for an expert in the field of plantar fasciitis. It would have been nice to have at least 20 minutes with him. As it was, I barely had 5 minutes. Hopefully when I see him again, I will have more time. I appreciate the opportunity to give feedback. Thank you.

The receptionist was not very welcoming but other than that, a good experience. I also was told by the doc I needed physical therapy but never received the prescription for it. I had to follow-up post visit.

I would highly recommend Dr. Redkar. She thoroughly explained my situation, what to expect during my surgery and after. Her attention to detail and care was very nurturing. I always felt like I was in good hands. Thank you Dr. Redkar!

I really the liked the location close my house the the nurses and the doctor really did I good job helping in what I needed my ankle and the coordinator to do everything in her power to get all the paper done for me

The appointment was really quick. I was told some the few things that were wrong with my feet and got tested for insoles same day, after checking with my insurance coverage. I returned a few weeks later and Dr. Baravarian made sure it was all fitting well.
