I was surprised when an assistant had me take off my shoe took my orthotics I don’t know this person and I don’t know his training I’m not seeing the doctor first, he takes my old orthotics and my new ones and he trims them and I have no idea who this person is or what kind of training he has. Then the doctor comes in and has me walk asked me how it is. I told him it didn’t feel the same as before I’ve worn a thought IX for probably close to eight years if not longer. He said come back into weeks. I did not feel listened to. I have a fused toe on the foot that didn’t feel right. Dr Carter was exceptional. The surgery center (Precision Surgery) has been a challenge - my insurance claims associated with the surgery center have still not been settled 8 months and counting after the surgery due to issues with how the center submitted the paperwork

An 8 instead of a 10 on communication. only because ( and this is important), I wasn't shown the MRI results in the follow-up visit. Although Dr. Briskin did tell me i had a fracture in the injured area I should have asked for (when I did not receive one) a detailed explanation pf the screening results as I was being shown the slides(which I was not shown). This is not only expected as part of the follow-up visit, but is important to enable the patient to better understand the injury and necessary follow-up treatment and care. Otherwise, loved having Dr. Briskin and hhighly recommend him. This is a clinic setting, and doctors are forced to rush through an overbooked schedule.

I truly cannot say enough about doctor briskin and his staff as well as his physical therapy department. from the care to Professionalism ,courtesy, Wealth of knowledge , You just know that you're in good hands and takin care of a feel safe. Thank you so much! I always tell all my friends at work that they should go see the foot name going set to 10 doctor briskin because we stand on our feet from 14 hours to 16 hours A-day and Everybody's always complaining about their feet and I with out hesitation tell them to go see doctor briskin!

Why have been seen doctor briskin for years. His office is incredibly professional he is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor.. With the bedside manner that I wish all doctors had! I said in another review that whenever I go there I always know I am respected and well taken care of and safe. O soul the physical therapy department at the foot and ankle institute is wonderful everybody in there is amazing and I just can't say enough about it I work in the movie industry we spend 14 hours to 16 hours A-day on our feet and I tell everybody to go see doctor brisk and whoever's having foot problems and they all thank me!

I asked how to access my account and was ignored. The doctor seemed to have a personal vendetta against Skechers rather than good suggestions to help me with my foot pain. I have moved on to a different UCLA DPM.

Scheduling over the phone is difficult and takes way to long. Over the last 2 years I've had several messages not returned at all when trying to schedule an appointment. Staff (Alex I believe) at the Simi Valley office is excellent! But, calling and getting to the Simi office line is near impossible when calling to schedule an appt. Probably out of your control, but the doctor turnover is a bit odd as I'm on my 3rs doctor already. All 3 have been great and nice, but continuity is preferred. And, more available days at the Simi office is needed to keep patients. Having a storefront office in a high exposure area is great, but then disappointing when it's only open 2-3 days a week.

Staff is very kind and very knowledgeable. Doctors are very helpful and very caring. They take their time with you and give you a thorough explanation of what is going on with you. Would never go anywhere else that's how much I trust them.

UFAI is just the best. There couldn’t be a better doctor than Dr. Cater or a better human being.

All the personnel working in PT are all skilled and knowledgeable

Cheli (or Shelly) in Scheduling (who also handles Disability) is really thorough and professional. The woman at reception at the Sherman Oaks office is always cheerful and helpful. I'm very happy with Dr. Bob and have already recommended him.

Nerve damage from entering the exact same spot the surgeon before entered. There is a big scar there and if I touch that area a little electric spark goes through my foot. Thankfully, the functionality is fine. Just having been double or triple scoped in the exact same spot may be a bad idea for future patients. Always go in gentle and in a spot where another surgeon had not damaged it already in the past. Overall dr. Carter is probably the best at diagnosing and also performance. Minus the one issue of knicking a surface nerve.

Dr. Briskin was amazing -- his expertise and his manner. He resolved my emergent situation in a confident, swift, and stress-reducing way. I was
totally pleased with the outcome.
Likewise, the staff was a pleasure -- yes, everyone cared for me 'very well.'
