Hi. I was sent a notice saying I qualified for new orthotics. I made an appointment, came in, paid the co-pay, then was told, oh, we didn't realize you changed insurance. That was very painful and could have been avoided. Not cool.

A female MD came in, and said she was a Fellow and Dr. Briskin was just outside, then picked up a cutting tool. I stopped her and asked what she was doing, as I was waiting for Dr. B. She said, "I AM A DOCTOR"!!! and walked out. Obviously, she was very insecure, and I had no notice that Dr. B would have her replacing him. I would not have minded if she were to observe, but her attitude was rude and dismissive. And she left.
Dr. B is always courteous and to the point. I did not report the issue, but since I have the opportunity, I am glad to report it.

From the moment my Primary doctor referred you to me for a foot injury (2 broken toes). The initial call, scheduled appointment, X-ray, doctors consultation and diagnosis, nurse fitting my foot with a boot, and finally scheduling a follow up appointment… Everything went smooth and seamlessly in a timely manner. I couldn’t be more satisfied with Dr. Baravarian’s work. A few years ago, he performed surgery on my toe. He is now helping me with a foot problem and suggested that I try physical therapy first to see if that corrects the issue. The physical therapist, Gray O’Brien, is also very, very good.

I always tell people who are having foot-related problems how good Dr. Baravarian is and suggest that they contact him.

Dr Bob and his associates were a pleasure to work with.  I had tarsal tunnel syndrome and plantar fasciitis surgery on my right foot because walking was painful and I was unsteady.   I'm so glad I found Dr Bob and am thankful for his expertise and experience.  I also want to give a shoutout to JMP Physical Therapy, who Dr Bob recommended.  Everyone on my "team" has been great!

The office staff and Dr. Franson were kind, prompt and attentive to my issue. I am grateful for the care I received and the outcome of my foot surgery. So glad to not be in pain anymore and to have retained mobility in the joint.

No Complaints with you guys. My visits with you for my checkups and maintainance of my toe nails are looked forward to every time. I like coming in and having face to face communication with all of you there at my place to maintain the health of my feet.

I really liked Dr. Briskin and the nurses in the office. Didn't love the front office staff. The gal who helped me check in wasn't very friendly. In fact I was not sure if I would be happy with the doctor when I got there. Luckily don't judge a book by its cover as I really liked the staff inside and the doctor was great.

I love this office so much! Dr Briskin has taken such good care of me as has everybody else in the office. Everyone is so friendly, kind and patient. I had seen three other podiatrists for my issue and Dr. Briskin is the first one to come up with an effective and comprehensive plan to help me after many years of frustration. I am forever grateful for the care I am getting in this office and have already referred a friend of mine there.

I'm sad the Mid-Wilshire office will be closing. I will have to drive a lot further to the Santa Monica location for future appointments. I hope parking will be convenient and either free or inexpensive.

Dr Briskin, staff and medical associates are an example of the medical care that should be performed by all doctors and their offices. The highest standards and best professional medical care; no non-sense just gets to the problem and does what is necessary.

I had a lingering foot infection from a jacuzzi cut; Dr. Briskin succeeded in eliminating the wound and getting it healed. Most happy with the 15 years that I have been a patient.

My second appointment, you put it in Sta. Monica, and I need to make a new appointment. Because I supposed my second one will be in Olympic like my first one. Next time, I read more carefully all the instruction at the mail that you send me for confirmation.

I am very upset that you will be leaving 5901 Olympic which is very convenient for me (and others). You have no other location that I would find easy to get to being disabled and finding transportation difficult.

I understand that UCLA owned the building but can't you meet their rental costs?

This is the second time that I have been treated by someone else other than Dr. Briskin. I come to this facility to see Dr. Briskin specifically. I was not informed in advance that someone else would do the procedure (toe nail clipping). It may seem like it is not a big deal to have someone else clip your toenails, but I continue to come to this office because I think Dr. Briskin is much better than average. I will say, Dr. Briskin did check on me after the toe nail clipping was done by someone else, but my preference is that he do the toenail clipping. I believe that my appointment is with Dr. Briskin, not someone else. I know that University Foot and Ankle has a lot of equipment to treat foot problems and I am sure that Dr. Briskin knows the full treatment possibilities at University Foot and Ankle, so I prefer to have his expertise available when I come for an appointment. I recently told him about a pain in my calf. He diagnosed it immediately as a tendon problem and recommended an MRI. The first time I saw him, more than a year ago, he diagnosed my problem immediately and gave me a cortisone shot, which put me on the road to recovery. I feel confident of his ability
