Dr. Bob Baravarian, DPM, Podiatrist Patient Reviews

Grey, Lydia, Tammy, and Irma have all been spectacular during my recovery following successful surgery by Dr. Baravarian. I'm at the end of my physical therapy, and, though I'm happy I made it, I'll be sad to say goodbye to this team. I could not have done it without their encouragement, putting up with my impatience, and challenging me when I needed to be challenged out of my comfort zone. Taking home lots of exercises to do for the rest of my recovery, and also to continue over time for my health.

The staff was all knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. There's one minor thing (super high-maintenance, I know) that I'd suggest:

Close the doors. I noticed there's a culture of leaving the exam room doors open before the exam. I saw other patients waiting in their rooms as I walked in, and others looked at me when I was sitting there with my foot raised. It also happened when I was getting my CT scan...I was standing there for a few minutes (door open) with the lead shield on and a random woman walked by and said, "oh, that looks heavy." It's really not a big deal but it's just a little awkward. I'd feel more comfortable if you closed the door until Dr. Bob was ready to see me/do the test.

My appointment was cancelled during pandemic. Despite all staff insisting that I was cont acted, I was not, and drove to the appointment that was cancelled. A simple sorry for your onconvenience would have gone a long way. Instead all I got was an insistance that a "message" was left for me.

It was amazing to me that during the very onset of Covid when everything was so unsure I got personal texts from Dr. Bavarian. I really appreciated it because I was concerned about my infected foot.
P.S. the Steelers surgical cap was a great touch on the day of surgery! Thank you Dr. Baravarian.

I spent a very short period of time with the actual doctor. The current issue has been dealt with well. I was told to eventually come back and take care of another foot that may need work. I could have used a bit more information around the suggested future procedure. The why and the what ... otherwise, all was a pleasant experience.
