The receptionist/office person in Sherman Oaks didn’t follow up with my insurance company and essentially lied to me when she told me the delay was because you were waiting for a response from Blue Shield for surgery approval After a week, I called Blue Shield and no request had ever been been submitted I called and complained and asked to talk to the office manager who never called me back Within an hour I suddenly had the approval I don’t like being lied to It creates a lot distrust

The people to whom you referred me, FIT, did an outstanding job on my foot, probably actually saved it. I could not be more grateful. The surgeon was amazing, nursing staff excellent. The person administering the anesthesia was an annoying loudmouth, however. That said, as I told Dr. Briskin, the FIT facility is a completely trashy facility, certainly not up to any reasonable standards of medical facility decorum It looks and feels like being in a storage closet. Unsanitary. In marketing we have a concept of associative values. University's branding is excellent, FIT's branding is completely sub par from a facility standpoint and does not encourage positive patient perceptions for for image and reputation. I would return to FIT if I had to. I urged Dr. Briskin to visit FIT and make up his own mind. When there he must make a thorough inspection of patient bed corridors and operating area, storage, identity of non-medical people wandering around and judge it from a patient's point of view. Again, FIT and Dr. Briskin saved my foot and I couldn't be more grateful.

Had test to determine need for ultrasound re circulation to toes. No notice from you regarding ultrasound appointment. Called day before appointment for ultrasound and was told I needed to keep appointment. About an hour later was told I did not need to come in for the ultrasound appointment. You should have called earlier in the week so I could make alternate plans for the day of my appointment. Different answers to the same question does not help your credability

Having some pain issues that Motrin 600 Tid plus Tylenol aren’t solving completely will
Need maybe a Doz. or so Norco for breakthrough pain.
Weighting my left leg only on crutches is making a painful bone in bone contact. Other than that Dr. Bob and staff are Aces.

I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and had severe pain on the inner part of my left ankle. Dr. Baravarian injected it and I was cured from the pain, this was over a year ago. Now, my right ankle is acting up, so I pray that the doctor can work another miracle. I was not there to see the staff, but, everyone was polite. I could of been five minutes late and do not remember the receptionist treating me bad. Very happy with my visits and will travel to Santa Monica from North Glendale to see the doctor. He is that good!

Your computers were down, so the dr. didn't have access to my records and couldn't really update my condition. Every time I see him he seems to have a different take on what to do next. You also said you would call me to make another appointment (since the computers were down), but no one did so.

Hello. It’s was gratifying to find Dr. Baravarian and staff. As self paying clients we really were impressed with his professionalism and skill sets, along with those who assisted him, in surgery, and the staff pre and post surgery. Big thx to Cheli for price shopping our surgery and her patience coordinating our out of town requirements. The one small matter was post surgery and having nominal questions, because this was completely new to us, that we never received a reply to my email. The boot cast wasn’t fitting well and becoming very irritating and the questions of how to handle the after care. Overall, my wife and I both felt the experience was certainly above the norm and the surgery staff were exceptional. We spoken to many people, here in our Mesa resort, on who handle the surgery etc. Thnx Earl and Charlene Rhode.

This is really a partial score since I don’t know yet how successful the surgeries will be. I think communication and process has been excellent. Appointments are well run, on time and efficient. Although sometimes the information is a bit sparse until you ask for it. I think results so far have exceeded expectations.

I highly recommend coming here if you have any kind of ankle or foot fracture. They're very knowledgeable and very polite. Everything is under one roof, if you suspect a fracture just come here first before going to the ER or urgent care. I almost had to get an MRI pay a lot of money. Dr bob told me it wasn't neccessary. The reason I'm deducting a star is because the parking, they don't validate. The receptionist, doesn't smile and just has a face of disappointment on her. They need someone a little more welcoming in the office for such a great place like this.

my foot doctor stopped taking my insurance. i didn't think that i would find as good a doctor, but i have. in fact 2 for the price of 1! dr. baravarian and dr. saaedi rock!. i have a lot going on with my feet (callouses and hammer toes) and my ankles. dr. saaedi just shaved off my callouses and my feet feel amazing. he was aggressive yet gentle. they will grow back, and when they do, i look forward to going back. dr. baravarian put in for physical therapy and orthotics and i start my physical therapy tomorrow! this was my second time there and my wait time again was minimal. thank you university foot and ankle.

If it will take the doctor a while to meet then patients should be honestly informed rather than repeatedly reminded that "the doctor will be right with you". Waiting for half an hour for a doctor with great reviews is perfectly fine with most people and oftentimes expected.

Grey is great. PT sessions are helping.

I was initially told my ankle had a small crack. Next visit I got another x ray and was told it’s just a bad sprain no cracks/fractures. Then at my first PT session he said the notes mention there was a crack?

Confusing.

So I still don’t actually know for certain what happened to my ankle!

Other than that everything has been helpful and pleasant

Several years ago my insoles seemed to be very well made. The last couple pair seem to be very poorly made and are only lasting a month or so. It is very disappointing given the cost of them. Have you changed the manufacturing process? Thanks.

DR Baravarian, Although seeiing me and starting diagnosis on 11-25-19, had another doctor see me this time, although I was scheduled for an appoint. w/ Dr Baraavarian, and Dr Baravarian was in the office, as he came up to say hello after my appoint. This just stuck me as odd.
The other doctor was quite good and provided insight and answered my questions, It was I felt a constructive and helpful appoint, but just odd as indicated in the above comment.
Foot seems to be healing, and that's the point. Thank you!
