Dr. Gary Briskin, DPM, Podiatrist Patient Reviews

Dr. Briskin is a “dream doctor.” I called his office based on a referral from Cinda in Dr. LaBrot’s office. The group I was originally referred to is closed till January 4th. After returning from an appointment with LaBrot, I called UFAI and asked when I could see Dr. Briskin. The receptionist asked if I could be in the office within the next 45 minutes. Yes!! So from Malibu we headed into Santa Monica. The perfect office, the perfect office staff, the perfect nurse, an amazing doctor! I write reviews only when I’m over the moon happy with an experience or when something awful has happened and I want to warn the public. I look forward to my next appointment in 1 1/2 weeks.

Good experience as always with Dr Briskin. Biggest complaint about the facility is the confusing parking lot/situation but not much can be done about that. Dr B and the staff have treated me well and I would recommend UFA. Good covid protocols, which streamlined the appointment.

Very good. With a super painful twisted ankle, I was lucky to get right in to see Dr. Briskin in the El Segundo office. He got me in a boot, and everyone there took excellent care of me, as usually. I'm getting better. Happy New Year!

Everyone always gives friendly, caring, clear information and try to eliminate wait time. Dr. Brisken and all the staff have great energy and the atmosphere is fun, pleasant, professional. Nice music too. Thanks to you all!

This was a follow-up appointment where we were supposed to go over our test results. I was called last Friday to make the appointment and then when I came in on Monday, they told me that the results weren't in.

I'm frustrated for a few reasons:
- There was no reason for me to come in and pay for this visit, it should be cancelled (or my money refunded - I just got laid off, paying for a visit I didn't need is a big deal right now)
- Since I've been using the ointment I got at my first visit, my skin has cracked, toes have swollen, been a bit painful... all of which is apparently normal, but none of this was told to me. It was just "use the ointment and we'll let you know when the results come in." I get that you don't want to freak people out with what could happen, but notice that treating my fungus could make it difficult to walk / cause pain would have been good to have
- I had to ask about future care and what the plan is once we get test results, it was not something anyone was going to explain. I get that the doctors are busy, but when I have to ask for these basics before they run out the door, I feel like an annoyance, not a patient
