Hi, Dr. Briskin treated my infected ankle frequently over the past five months...during that time the infection eventually was cleared but the ankle remained red and painful, especially when in bed...requiring special methods keeping the ankle above the mattress. Finally, I discovered that the continuing pain was caused by the medication applied to the ankle.
After discontinuing the Silvasorb gel, the ankle pain completely stopped.
How's that for a simple resolution to a nagging problem........

Dr. Briskin was great. He listened to my request to attempt treatment without x-rays as I had had so many exposures recently. As I had hoped, he diagnosed the issue by physical exam and my verbal report. I am 85-90% repaired, and appreciative.
It was a bit discomforting to have the doctor, myself, and two clinical adjuncts in the small treatment room. I would have appreciated being asked if it was OK, and being informed what their functions were. Last person on the scene did introduce herself and show me the prescribed exercise. That was appreciated.

When I first encountered Dr. Briskin after smashing a nerve and breaking a bone in my foot several years ago, he took x-rays, looked at them, and told me I didn't have a serious problem, and that my foot would heal. The healing began that minute. I have had 3 pairs of custom orthotics from Dr. Briskin since that time, and while each was slightly different, which concerned me, all 3 contributed to reducing the issues with my Morton's neuroma to almost non-existent. The medical assistants during each visit did their jobs. I did have problems with the office staff - not getting correct answers to my insurance questions, etc. This is something you should correct.

The only issue was that when I first called to make an appointment, the receptionist gave me incorrect insurance guidance. That was corrected when I called again and reached another receptionist, however the error wasted my time and energy.

I never got a call to tell me that my insoles were ready. My foot is sore and sad. Now with the stay-at-home orders... Anyway, I'll call you when this is all over.
