Good experience. Dr. Franzen is always helpful in thinking through solutions and explanatory in determining what issues might be. He moves pretty quickly from diagnosis to solutions.

I was very nervous going in and concerned over a black toenail but Dr. Franson was excellent. He explained what caused the black toenail as well as thickening nails on big toes. Not only did he tell me how to prevent both but even gave me a name of a shoe that has a wide tie which I need. The staff were also helpful and polite. I would highly recommend University Foot and Ankle Institute.

Unsolicited, I will happily provide a review of my experience with Dr. Franson. I can honestly say he is one of the most skilled doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! I wasn’t a believer in custom orthotics, as past experiences have proven, but I am now! Between them and the double toe straightener, my feet feel new again! To go days without foot pain is unheard of... until now! Dr Franson even took considerable time to research tennis court shoes (for pickleball) specific to my needs and personally email me with recommendations. I play without pain for the first time in years. He went way above and beyond... as did his whole staff of professionals. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Very well. I saw Dr. Franson for an evaluation of my right ankle. He took
an X-ray, and told me that I had a lot of arthritis in the ankle, that it was "bone on bone", and that the best option was to replace it. I am considering that, but have yet to make a decison.

Dr. Franson was pleasant, and very easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable
talking to him.

Only issue I had was that I had som issue with one tech kept failing to email me my X-rays. I had to make multiple requests before he got around tp sending it to me.
