I had a very positive experience with Dr Franson and the staff at University Foot & Ankle. I've been going for treatment and check ups over the last 5 months and would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I have taken this survey several times and my comments remain the same.
Dr. Franson and his entire staff are the best.
I couldn't ask for better experiences than I have had at UFAI medical office and surgery center.
I would highly recommend them.

On my recent visit, I had my steristrips removed, and the Dr spent some time answering questions that I needed explained, since I had no literature explaining what at home care I needed to do. The only thing I can think that needs to be addressed was, no one came in to clean the incision and I was left in the room needing assistance to get my boot back on.
The staff is very plesent and Dr Franson has a great bedside manner.

I had great experiences with both Dr. Franson as well as Hawson and would recommend to anybody with ankle and foot issues. They are very professional, but communicate very well at down-to-earth level of detail.

Dr. Franson conveyed my surgery prognosis for healing time with complete honesty and accuracy after extensive bunionectomy surgery on my extremely deformed right foot. After prescribing physical therapy for healing and returning mobility, after just four months, I am able to use the elyptical for 20 minutes and immediately following it with 40 minutes of walking on the treadmill (a total of 60 minutes). I am thrilled with how my NOW NORMAL foot looks and my ability to walk on it.

I thought your office was fabulous. I thought the doctor was awesome. He listened to what I had to say. He didn’t just let it go in one ear and out the other. We had an actual conversation. He was running on time. I will definitely revisit this office and recommend it all the time. I can see why the doctors office recommends him.

It’s my first and, hopefully,only need for a podiatrist. My questions were answered. A game plan was made. I seem to be making headway.

Staff is friendly and well-trained. Appointments are usually on time. I realize there are extenuating circumstances at times that require rescheduling (my most recent appointment had to be rescheduled twice!), but generally I'm seen on my original appointment day and time. Dr. Franson is worth waiting for!

I felt the visit went reallly well with the doctor. Staff is friendly.

Feedback I would give is follow up. I had my feet casted for inserts and was never called on the status that they were not in yet due to a manufacture backlog or when they did come in no one called me. I had to call twice.
The doctor also ordered more inserts for my work shoes when I received my first inserts and I still have not received a call that they are in. This was before Christmas!

I’m very pleased with the results of my bunionectomy. Dr. Franson and Dr. Jafary are excellent physicians who gave great recommendations, performed a very clean surgery and had wonderful post-op care. I will be back in a few months to have them treat my other foot.
