I told Dr. B and the assistants that attended to me that I have, and have had for about 4 years, a strange feeling in my toes and ball of my foot that feels as if the tissue is filled with crumbled up Styrofoam. I feel this, for example, if I curl my toes.
I asked Dr B and the assistants at both sessions, "What is the name of this symptom? What is causing it? Is there some treatment or therapy that can eliminate the feeling of crunched styrofoam?
I never received an answer to this question. There were sort of puzzled looks and then, immediately, the topic would shift to creating orthotics for my feet.
Well, I have and wear, the orthotics. But I would still like to know why I feel crunching styrofoam in my feet. Is it a problem with the nerves? Do other patients ever mention a similar feeling?

I had to wait in the exam room too long in my opinion. I alerted staff several times that I had to leave for work but they didn't seem to understand the urgency. I had to leave and come back the next day to pick up my orthotics

Was recommended to Dr. Baravarian when I started having foot pain. Dr. B. diagnosed it as plantar fasciitis. I was set up with orthotics, physical therapy, and exercise. Fortunately it eased up and then went away. I appreciated the doctor's attention, "the cure," and the office efficiency. Definitely would recommend!

I came in all ready to get my surgery done; had someone bring so I wouldn’t have to use pressure on my foot in driving; planned the day etc. when I got there the assistant was setting up the room and discovered one piece of vital equipment was not functioning. Dr. B came in and apologized then said we have to cancel. I understand that these things happen was this equipment working ok the day before? Was it checked prior? The thing is I had someone give up her morning to bring me over. Not to mention my time as well. So please check your equipment. I am scheduled for August 1st. So sorry to complain ; your office is really great but you thought you should know

Most impressive medical care. Can’t wait to see if the surgical procedure actually worked, as I’ve struggled with this condition for eight years. It’s satisfying to feel as though there are people who really care about my wellness.

I am grateful that I went to see this doctor, because I live in Memphis, TN. and I have seen over three physicians that wanted to either cut on me or do nothing but medicate me. This doctor gave me hope by suggesting that an injection of Botox would temporarily relax my contracted gastronomic muscles and allow me to walk normally so I can go back to work. So with his great research/studies and willingness to help I’m thankful.
