My son had a bad accident and had severe injury to his foot and ankle. Dr Carter was recommended to me as the best. My son needed treatment and surgery ASAP. I never met Dr. Carter but with research I found out that he had quite a bit of experience. As a very worried mom I was hesitant. When we met him he knew immediately exactly how to treat him. He was very delicate, very calming, took a lot of time examining my son. He did an amazing job with what I thought was a difficult surgery. He made sure I understood and mainly my 18 year old son understood exactly how he was going to surgically repair my son's ankle and foot. He also explained in great detail what post surgery was going to be like. My trust was completely in his hands and I'm so thankful it was because today my son is able to walk and ride his bike on his college campus. Dr. Carter is so caring so knowledgeable. He takes his time with you. He makes sure your okay and understand everything before you leave the office. His wealth of knowledge and his amazing surgical skills are not to be over looked. His LA office is very nice. Its very clean and welcoming. His staff is very helpful and very kind. Do not hesitate to see him! Bottom line see him and trust him!

Dr. Ryan Carter is. A wonderful podiatrist and an excellent person.  Dr.    Carter deserves recognition for serving the public in a humanitarian way. He is a  gentleman and he is very knowledgeable caring thorough and attentive. He has the most elegant manners and disposition which is very rare especially in 2018!!!  I came to him after I had a freak accident in which a beauty salon chair squished my foot while I was getting a haircut, and as a result I had a lot of anxiety and was shock.   Dr. Carter is very intuitive  he knew exactly what to say  to help me with my anxiety.  If only all the medical professionals were as caring professional kind and helpful like Dr. Carter the world would be a much better place!   Besides Dr. carter the staff is also excellent especially Bernardo the x ray techinician.  They are all very helpful  answered all my questions as well as treated me with the utmost respect and care.    The best part about the office is that you don't have to wait long and they get you in and out as fast as possible.

Dr. Carter is wonderful. Very kind and caring. A silly accident led to a broken toe but I felt that I got such good care with Dr. Carter, and I know that he was making sure that my toe healed properly so that I won’t have any problems in the future. He’s terrific .

Dr. Carter is very friendly and really cares about the patient. He strikes great conversation and I forget that I’m even in a doctor’s office for procedures.

Dr Carter was great. He knew what the problem was and took care of it right away. The woman who made the casts for my orthotics was especially helpful and friendly. I'm sorry I don't remember her name. She made the whole experience very easy and explained everything thoroughly.

I have nothing but praise for this practice. I came for a second opinion after first visiting Kerlan Jobe, where I had a good first meeting but had difficulty following up afterwards, not having calls returned for over 48 hours. I decided to have my surgery with Dr. Baravarian who is not only an expert (I read many of his papers on-line) but has a really pleasant manner with patients and allows direct communication via e-mail.  So often you're in the office with a doctor and forget to ask a question, and then you get home and need to know something.  He responds very quickly. Right now I am 10 weeks out of ligament repair surgery and doing very well.  The entire experience has been seamless.  This medical practice cares about you.  I also had an appointment with Dr. Carter who was also a great communicator, and I loved the gentle techs who helped in the X-ray and cast rooms.  I want to give a particular shoutout to the rehab folks across the hall. Gray and Lydia have helped me recover quite fast.  I'm a bit of an A type and I've tried to do a little too much at times, so when they tell me to be patient, that recovery is gradual, I listen, and it's going really well.  I'll be hopping and jumping in a few more weeks.

I have been meaning to come see Dr. Carter for months because he came highly recommended by a family member. To spare you the long review, I came in and had a wonderful experience. I had been having issues with my right foot for a very long time and no other doctors could help. Dr. Carter was very caring and knowledgeable. He did not pressure me into anything I wasn't comfortable with. I later came back for a procedure with him and 2 weeks after that procedure I have never felt better. Also since my first visit, they have revamped/redecorated the place and have really made it feel very comfy and nice compared to other doctors offices. Will continue to recommend him to anyone with foot problems!

Professional like none other. I’m super picky with who I appoint as my PC or Specialist so I went through the rounds of interviewing and visiting facilities until I landed on UFAI. Dr. Carter has been absolutely amazing from the getgo and has taken amazing care of me and my ankle. Dr Carter listened to the history and daily challenges I’ve had prior to breaking my ankle and came up with a surgical solution to remedy it all. It’s been 5 months since he worked his magic and I haven’t felt this good and this confident while walking in over 10 years. Their office staff is in tune and works well between all their offices. They are quick to follow up and send out reminders for appointments. They are also super quick in everything. Overall, I recommend UFAI to everyone who’s having any foot or ankle issues. You can’t find another team of people who will care more for you and your well-being.

Dr. Carter fixed what 2 other surgeons failed to do. Removing metal, and actually cleaning up the cartilage and ligament damage. Whereas the surgeons before hand left me immobilized and only took care of the bone break. Bones heal, but the ligaments and what not need serious treatment right off the bat. Luckily I was helped. Only issue is that now when I touch the entry point of the scope, I get an electric spark throughout my foot. So maybe some minor surface level nerve damage.

This is for Dr. Carter and his office staff. Prior to my appointment, all of his staff was knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. Dr. Carter has a great bedside manner and completely put me at ease about my procedure and future treatments. Thanks so much!

My son had a recent surgery there and I cant say enough about the level of professionalism and client service.  The Doctor (Dr. Carter) was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and his response time to questions was faster than any other Doctor we have dealt with.  He was extremely kind and patient with my son who has a rare neurological disability which makes it difficult to communicate with him.  Dr, Carter was flawless and worked with my son to make him comfortable.  Everyone in the office who I encountered was kind, professional and patient with my many questions.  I highly recommend them.  Five star service!
