There are only a couple of things I was unhappy with.

1. I was never told about the option for purchasing a waterproof boot cover until I had failed at using a trash bag. As a result, I had to arrange a ride to the Santa Monica office to rebandage my foot.

2. The receptionists are not very friendly and therefore give a negative first impression to patients. One of them continually wears her mask under her nose instead of covering it.

Otherwise, my experience with Dr. Baravarian and his technician as a positive one.

Dr. Baravarians receptionist would benefit from better communication with eachother. On a few occasions there were some discrepancies with scheduling and insurance related issues. If I didn't speak up for myself I would've gotten charged more than I did and this happened several times (I knew to expect this already from an online review).

The nurses and doctor were exceptional though and I'm happy with the results of my surgery and the care provided. PTs and their receptionist were also outstanding and provided excellent care and communication.

Dr. Baravarian is a great doctor. I have severe R/A and he has always helped me. Never rushes my appt. and his staff is great. The office is very clean and I am always able to get an appt. He is the best foot doctor that I have ever seen. Highly recommend him.

Doctors visits are too fast. Doctors and patients are pressured by time, since time is money. Doctors’-office should not feel like a factory. Training the employees to be very nice do not compensate with time. Time for patients does not equal money but care!!!

My therapist explained a lot this time and demonstrated various ways with her own foot what she does when she gets bouts of pain under her foot. I liked how she demonstrated and explained all the things she does. She was very good and a very nice, knowledgeable person who knows how to teach and explain what was happening with this condition, planter fascities.
