My experience with UFAI was hit & miss. Some staff peeps were kind and helpful, others were not experienced in the medical field. (i.e., one female tech thought DME was a company & she didn’t know it stood for “durable medical equipment!” I was stunned to say the least.

A male ‘fellow’ who was on call during the 1st weekend was dismissive and talked over me. When I came into the office, he turned to a female ‘fellow’ and said: “ I had to take care of your mess this morning .”

I did call him and when he finally called called back 2 days later, I told him his behavior was abhorrent. He did apologize, but explained it was just banter between him and the other ‘fellow’.

Nonetheless, I’ve been a patient well over 15 yrs., and will continue to be a patient. But hopefully without any
more surgeries.

My humble advice is hire competent and caring people. UFAI is in the medical service industry.

I really like Dr. Brisken and his associates, very friendly and knowledgeable, informative. The office staff is also helpful and friendly. So glad they are close by. Really glad I found Dr. Brisken…..

Dr. Briskin and his staff are excellent. Dr. Briskin is very skilled, listens well, diagnoses quickly, explains very well to the lay person and I like that he has a variety of tools at his disposal. He has provided excellent advice to me. However, billing is another issue. For three days in a row, I have called the office number to ask to speak to someone about billing and I have never reached a live person and have not received a call back.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating…asked if I needed parking validation, provided a couple of options for me getting my primary health insurance to them. Nurse; nice and personable. The doctor (second opinion) reviewed my condition, prescribed an upgraded medication, recommended a bunion cushion
(provided a couple), confirmed what I knew. I would like to have him perform the surgery when I decide to do so.

The staff is very friendly and cordial. The staff is very welcoming and have empathy with the patients. I have been treated with so much empathy and friendliness. Also, the staff is very knowledgeable about their patients.

Overall I think the doctors and nurses are nice, however the doctor always seems very rushed and does not offer much insight/advice. Would advise him to slow down and spend some time with the patient. However, they all seem very knowledgeable in their field and nice, - just busy.
