Toenail conditions, corns and calluses are very common and can be both painful and unsightly. Our foot and ankle specialists have extensive experience treating corns, calluses, and toenail conditions, including toenail fungus (Onychocryptosis) and ingrown toenails.
A fungus can invade the nail through cuts or after an injury. Fungal infections (Onychomycosis) are the most common nail disease.
An ingrown toenail (Onychocryptosis) is a common discomfort that involves the nail curving down into the surrounding skin causing pain, redness and inflammation.
Also called ram’s horn nails, one or more toenails grow considerably faster than the others. Onychogryphosis describes the claw-like hypertrophy and thickening of the entire nail plate.
