I was told originally that my visit for the procedure would be $45.00 and the girl at the desk at that time did call Blue Shield to check and then when I came to have the procedure she was not there and the girl said that I owed 45.00 plus over 100.00.

I actually cancelled this appointment I was hoping that I could get a telehealth appointment with the doctor. Was disappointed that this was not an option. But I love UFAI. Dr Franson is awesome

Dr Franson is the just the BEST -
He is warm, attentive and patient. We've been seeing him for decades!!
The staff is accomodating and getting an appointment when you need it is relatively easy.

I felt very confident with the services provided. I tried another podiatrist that failed with a “permanent” ingrown toenail procedure 7 times! The procedure that Dr. Kelman provided was much different. I feel very confident this time will work! I also loved that follow-up visits to check the toe were scheduled. Thank you!

Fine I need to follow through on a couple of items -the authorization for compression stockings was denied -this has happened last time & believe wrong code was used. I would like to be able to contact the office that I go to directly

I have been to both the mid city and Santa Monica offices. My visit was to the mid-city office and I felt the staff couldn't be more kind and helpful. When I went to the Santa Monica office back in 2016, some of the staff was particularly rude and while I thought my doctor there was excellent and didn't want to go back anymore because of the staff. I didn't want to be uncomfortable for every visit. So I am really glad the mid-city office was great and really helpful in getting me to understand some updated policies and not be condescending. I think the staff is just as important as the doctors themselves in providing care and service to us patients.
