I schedule my appointments as early as possible, so I can drive back across town and make it into work on time. Before my appt., the receptionist informed me that I needed to fill out several pages of my medical history, medications, etc. I believe I have been seeing Dr. Baravarian for at least ten years and have provided that information previously, more than once. First of all, that information is on file and if anything needed to be updated, as UCLA does, I could have been given a copy of the previously completed forms and asked if anything had changed. Secondly, at 7:55 am, right before my appointment, and right before I have to race back across town to get to work, I do not have the time or patience to provide information that has already been provided--multiple times. Ideally, I could have been emailed with the previously completed forms and asked to update the information at my convenience. I did not appreciate the insistence or attitude of the receptionist & told her, that as I did not have the info available and did not see the need to provide it all again, I should probably just go. I filled out a bit of it and she suggested I take it w/me during the appt. Still angry...

The waiting area is very cramped. It’s very uncomfortable to sit there with a foot injury while people walk by and accidentally bang your feet. Is there any way to make the waiting area more spacious?

All the Physicians and staff are caring and compassionate AND INTERESTED in the patients. I felt they noticed what I did or didn't do that was conducive to my recovery and reminded me to act in my best interest. I have ALREADY begun recommending UFAI to colleagues and friends. I am well and mostly pain free thanks to all of you.

I appreciated Dr Briskin's attention to issues I presented and understood the reality that a correction to the orthotics might be improved without suggesting complete new orthotics that would be extremely expensive for Medicare patients.

Thank you for x-raying a painful toe and thereby discovering it was fractured. Since then, however, I continue to have pain and can only wear a pair of loose "Top-siders". How long will the painful toe require to heal? Thank you. E.F. Tuttle

I rip my Achilles’ tendon from a large bone spur! It took a long time to heal after surgery. I had great care from Dr. Baravarian and his staff. There was not much left of my Achilles when I had the surgery. So the doctor also suggested to get the PPR shots during my recovery!!
Now I am doing much better!!! Thank you!

I am happy with Dr Carter’s care. He is interested, kind and helpful. I still don’t know what is causing the pain in my left foot, however, which a cortisone injection of my choosing has not helped. So I am stumped now as to what is the cause and how to treat it.
I do want to add something about the PT. I went twice and I had the impression that the manager, Greg is it? is not really into his work anymore. He never even looked at or touched my foot or calf to assess where pain was. I was put off by his manner and did not return.

Dr. Baravarian and his staff treated me well and took the time to go over all important information regarding my feet problems. I would definitely recommend the doctor to anyone looking for foot and ankle help.
