The only issue I had was no one really communicated next steps with me. I saw the doctor as I was walking out and I said bye and then he communicated next steps. If I hadn’t run into him I might not have known.

During this visit, I felt that Dr Baravarian was in a rush and did not give me his time and attention. He said that I need to wear the boot for two more weeks and that the ankle was not healed yet. His "fellow" came in first and she was quite nice and did not seemed rushed. By the way, she never told me her name. This particular visit was not very satisfying because I was not able to ask any questions and I did not have the doctor's full attention. Thanks

It was a very good experience. Everyone -- from Dr Sircar to the staff -- was friendly and helpful. Although it was my first visit, yet I felt as if I was a regular visitor. Especially, Dr Sircar had an amiable disposition, due to that -- despite my first ever meeting with him -- it was like I was talking to one of my family member. And on the diagnostic side, the doctor checked me and explained everything in a very easy and in the layman's language. In a nutshell, it was a very satisfying experience!

I was a patient of Dr. Kelman's before he joined UFAI. I really like him and his office staff are fantastic. However, not being able to call their office directly, having to leave a message with the phone service, is extremely frustrating. I recently had foot surgery, and I had a quick follow-up question for Dr. Kelman - I sat on hold for 20 minutes with the switchboard, got disconnected once and then did not get called back until late the next day. I almost switched doctors because of these type of issues with not being called back and not being able to reach the office. I highly suggest that you allow patients to call the office directly if they are in the middle of scheduling surgery or dealing with follow-up from surgery.

I had high hopes when I drove almost 2-hours to see Dr. Baravarian, based on reading some of his articles in Podiatry Today and elsewhere on the internet. And so far I'm impressed with his scientific approach to figuring out my chronic (20-yr) foot problem. After evaluating my MRI, examining my foot, and performing an ultrasound, he came up with a preliminary diagnosis that no previous podiatrist had considered, and which makes sense to me (heel bursitis). He then told me to try heel cups for 2-weeks and if that helps he will probably prescribe custom orthotics to take weight off of that bursa. I'm very encouraged that he might be able to finally solve this debilitating problem and enable me to walk for exercise again.

Dr B came in, examined my foot, provided a diagnosis, and offered a few solutions. He was approachable and easy to talk to. He made me feel like he was a kick-ass doctor who knew what he was talking about. He did not waste my time nor his. His staff was also nice. Would recommend.
