Dr. Bob's skilled & knowledgeable. Sharp & in tuned with my ailment.
While not every patient is the same, believe me, Dr. Bob's your guy if you've got a Morton's Neuroma and wish to avoid surgery. He's the only one in L.A. who treats MN they way he does, and if you've got a MN trust me, THIS is your guy.
Since I've got characters left, I'll tell you why. I had a MN & due to a slip & fall accident, became intolerable. I couldn't even tie a sneaker. Surgery snips nerves & I'd rather have my nerves & body in tact, so I rejected cutting anything. UFAI offered an alternative other podiatrists didn't offer or recommend; cryosurgery. The basic idea is to freeze the nerve, break up tissue around the MN & send the nerves back to their home.
I waited 10 months, as the machine he works with was out for repair. So, I waited. And it was well worth waiting. After two surgeries/ treatments, I can say, this is working. I may need another round, I'll know on my follow up. Also, I've got an amazing physical therapist working with me (on this & other pains,) & with these 2 treatments, the MN's dissipating.
I can't recommend Dr. Bob & UFAI enough. No doubt, I'd travel far & wide for this guy.

I have been a patient at University Foot and Ankle for several years, Dr Franson has operated on my left foot successfully several years ago and the symptoms have never recurred.
That is the main reason I returned for the surgery on my right foot.
I feel confident that when the cast is finally removed for good my problems will be gone! I can't wait to walk like a normal person again and feel strongly I will have Dr. Justin Franson to thank for that!

Waited maybe 5-10 minutes past my appointment time in the waiting room (which is GREAT compared to other Doctors)
Was called in, put in an exam room and Dr. Franson came in almost immediately. Was a great improvment versus some other Medical office visits I've had recently.

The ankle brace has helped tremendously. I can now walk around easier.
However any long walks I must use walking sticks, even then the ankle will hurt a lot.
I am not back to the mobility or ability I had the day before I hurt my ankle.
This has put my career in crisis -how can I return to work if I can’t walk right? I am very concerned that I may have to retire early and find a sit down career.
I hope to continue a dialogue with Dr Baravarian on what can be done to improve my chances to recover.

You need to be prepared to have all questions answered. Visits are very quick sometimes and you’re out the door before you know it.

I was very satisfied with the Dr and the receptionist. The doctor advised me to buy a product from you, Formula 7, which was a little pricey. When I got home, I could not find very good instructions on how to use it. There was no leaflet inside the box and only sketchy instructions on the box. I went on line, and there were no better instructions there either. It seems to be for treating athlete's foot on the skin, not toenail fungus, which is the problem I have. I called the office to hopefully get better instructions and reached someone in Santa Monica. She said she would have someone call me back, but no one called me. I feel the doctor should have explained how to use this product, or there should be a hand-out, especially since the box specifically says it is not effective for treating toenail fungus, and it says this on line as well. So I'm doing the best I can with what I consider incomplete information.

Did test on toenails at visit. Told that you would get in a few weeks with the results of the test. That was February 14, 2023 have not heard back from you as of March 21, 2023. your follow up is not very good.

Dr Bob is simply amazing. No one else has been able to solve my Achilles tendinitis which was so very painful for a year. He is patient, and very knowledgeable. Great bedside manner! My pain is virtually gone!!

I was disappointed that the X-ray machine went down that day, and the whole reason I drove from West Hills to Westlake Village to see the Dr was to get it xrayed.
If the machine went down, I should have been called and told that before I drove all the way out and back, with my recovering foot. I should have had the option to reschedule as the whole point (in my mind) was to get it prayed to see if it is still broken. When X-ray machines. go down - call patients and give them the option.
